ManagedLinkBuilding.com: Introducing the Second Revolution

Monday, August 23rd, 2010

Twelve years ago we revolutionized the art and science of link acquisition and management with the introduction of LinksManager, the world’s first search-engine aware linking solution.

Prior to LinksManager, what few link management applications existed paid little or no attention to search engines because, quite frankly, first generation search engine algorithms, web crawlers and indexers didn’t pay much attention to links.  They were programmed to concentrate on metatags and keywords while giving only minimal consideration to links.

Enter Google, which largely based its returns on the then revolutionary concept of considering appropriate links from one site to another as editorial votes of confidence and rewarding sites with the highest vote total the best return positions.  Also enter, at roughly the same instant, LinksManager, which was engineered from the ground up to facilitate acquisition, display and management of Google-appropriate links.

As you probably already know, over the years we’ve endowed LinksManager with more bells and whistles than you’ll find on a fleet of locomotives.  In its current state of evolution, LinksManager empowers users to supercharge link productivity in ways unimaginable 10 years ago and unmatchable by any other link-management system for at least 14 or 15 more years (when the patent on our proprietary technology expires.)

Along the way, we’ve continuously updated LinksManager’s core functionality in lockstep with changes in Google and other major search engines’ quality and ethical guidelines.  Truth is, one of the things we’re proudest of is LinksManager’s unbroken 10-year-record of 100% compliance with every search engine that matters – even those, like Bing, which weren’t even a gleam in their algorithm’s eye when LinksManager and Google were growing up together.

As far as this blog goes, there’s one other thing that needs to be said about LinksManager.  Officially, it’s always been a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) service.  We’ve provided tens of thousands of small business, midsize company and corporate webmasters with the world’s best, most popular suite of editor-based, ethical linking tools and they took those tools and ran with them.

Which until right now is still true — officially.  LinksManager is, and always will be, an incredibly value-priced Do-It-Yourself solution for web operators who want to maximize their link marketing, traffic building, and search-engine appeal while minimizing the vast number of hours required to attain those goals manually.

Roughly two years ago, however, we began to unofficially provide fully hosted linking services to a select number of subscribers who called or e-mailed the Help Desk with requests reading something like this:

Hi, I’ve got my own ecommerce business, a day job as an assistant manager at a brick-and-mortar boutique and I’ve just started accounting school at night.  I love LinksManager and what it’s done for my website, but even with its help I can’t quite maintain my link pages and acquisitions at the level I’d like.  Besides, I can’t help feeling that you folks know more about link strategy and organic growth and all those other webmaster forum kind of link topics than I do.  How much would it cost me to have you totally takeover my link building campaign?

The first few times we got queries like this we responded in the same kneejerk fashion most businesspeople employ when asked to do something out of the ordinary.  We said, “We’re sorry, but that’s not the business we’re in.”

Eventually, though, we came to realize that what these subscribers wanted was a very clearly defined service – a high-powered turnkey, run-in-the-background linking solution – and that our business IS, actually, providing services related to linking.  So we decided to give it a try.

After two years of development and real-cyberworld testing on live customer websites, ManagedLinkBuilding.com, the world’s premier fully hosted link building, acquisition, and maintenance service is now open for business.

What makes ManagedLinkBuilding the gold standard, the world’s “premier fully hosted link building, acquisition, and maintenance service?”  The quick answer is one word:  Us!  Since that’s pretty disingenuous and (justifiably) arrogant, we’ll expand on it.  ManagedLinkBuilding is the web’s best hosted linking solution because:

1. It is the only hosted linking service built on LinksManager’s patented, editor-based, 100 percent search-engine-compliant technological platform.

A failsafe system for pro-actively gathering, formatting, publishing and testing relevant, good-neighborhood forward and backlinks optimally suited to enhance traffic, positively influence search-engine rankings, and provide value-added content to your site visitors.

2. The people building, populating and constantly refreshing ManagedLinkBuilding subscribers’ links pages are among the web’s handful of full-time, totally dedicated linking experts.  Compared to MLB’s account managers, most search-engine-optimization gurus – no matter how capable — are generalists.

They may offer link management along with their other services, but they don’t specialize in it. LinksManager’s in-house, all-American linking professionals – now AKA (Also Known As) ManagedLinkBuilding account managers — aggregate more than 35 years of professional experience working exclusively in the link building trade.  We will NEVER farm out link building to boiler room sweatshops that know nothing about this business.  Our staff are college educated, web marketing trained, link building professionals.

3. ManagedLinkBuilding.com subscribers’ links are managed by the same staff, using the same protocols and technologies, as our five established in-house sites owned by our parent company, Creative NetVentures:

LinksManager.com – Google #1 for “link management application;” #2 for “link management (#1, as detailed in our last blog, is an anomaly – a company that is not in the link business); #1 for “manage links” and #1 for “ethical link manager.”

LinkPartners.com – Google #1 and #2 for both “link partners” and “find link partners;” #2 for “reciprocal link exchange.”

AirTaxiFlights.com – Google #1 and #2 for “VLJ Air Taxi;” #3 for “air taxi;” #1, #2 and #9 for “air taxi FAQ.”

AirTrafficAtlanta.com – Google #1 for “air traffic monitoring” and “ATC monitoring;” #1 for “airport traffic monitoring”; #2 for “airport radar monitor” and “airport radio monitor” and “airport traffic monitor”

HurricaneHousing.org – Google #1 and #3 for “temporary hurricane housing”.

That, in roughly 1,000 words, is the story behind ManagedLinkBuilding.com, the latest addition to the LinksManager family, and LinksManager’s second revolution in the world of internet linking.

Is MLB for everybody?

Absolutely not.  It’s probably not even for most bodies.  “Most bodies” can build an equally powerful linking program themselves by intelligently using the LinksManager’s robust tool set in conjunction with the tips and techniques available in the LinksManager help files and Linking School articles.

If you’re severely time challenged, however.  Or if you hate the whole concept of doing anything yourself when there’s some other competent person willing to do it for you.  Or if you simply want to “set and forget” your linking program and get on with the rest of your life, ManagedLinkBuilding.com could definitely be for you.
